On tap at the brewery. It pours a golden orange color with an off white head. The aroma has some strong, nutty coffee and pine needles. The flavor is heavily bitter with pine needles and tons of coffee. Mild honey notes come out mid palate. Nutty with some caramel, coffee and pine. Not bad. The acidity that the coffee adds kind of tempers the strong hop flavors, which doesn’t make much sense, but seems to be the case to me. Interesting brew. A little heavy handed though.
