On tap at the 2016 SF beer week opening gala. It pours a clear dark amber color with an off white head. The aroma is lightly toasted with some richer cherry-like malt. Balanced. The flavor is the same. Very rich maltiness without being sweet or under attenuated. A little toast and plum with just a hint of coffee in the finish. Lots of character without hitting you over the head. Loved this one. Could’ve drank it all night.
