On tap at Ale Arsenal. Massive coffee, chocolate and slight roast. Beautiful black with brown head. Rich and complex flavor. Very tasty.

The beer is a very dark brown with a smallish light brown head. Some lacing but most of the head fades pretty quick. The aroma is rich with coffee flavor. It’s full of chocolate with some berry and lemon zing. Very good. They’re getting great coffee flavors in this series. Mild caramel in the aroma and more in the taste. Light coffee acidity. Mild bitterness. Pretty easy to drink for all that coffee. Maybe a bit light overall but it showcases the coffee aroma very well. Light feel.

On tap at Cellarmaker. It pours a dark brown color with good clarity and a tan head. The aroma is potent with chocolate, a hint of blackberry and smoke. Heavy coffee of course. The flavor is nicely smoky with dark chocolate, coffee, light berry notes with hints of nuts and more smoke in the finish. Really amazing coffee character. This is a great series by these guys and I hope they keep it going.
