Score
6.71
ABV: 4.8% IBU: 38 Ticks: 3
Hopped intensely with Simcoe, Equinox, Centennial, Caliente and Galaxy and comes in at 4.8% and 38 IBUs. Slighty addition of Crystal Rye malt allows for a spicy finish and more malt character than your average Cellarmaker Pale Ale. Perfect for winter time, perfect ABV so Dad can have a few.

Tap at Gourmet Haus. Clear copper-gold with full white head. Moderate citrus and pine. Moderate high bitterness really overpowered the lower ABV.

The beer is a light golden amber color. Head is white and foamy. Plenty of lacing. Tropical and citrus hop flavors in the aroma. Pineapple, berries, mango, tangerine, grapefruit. Good stuff. Malt is mild and simple. Taste is mildly to moderately bitter. Light and easy to drink. Some nice hop flavor to it. Light feel. Normal carbonation.

Tap at Cellarmaker. It pours a semi clear light orange gold color with a white head. The aroma is orangy with some papaya, hints of sugar cookie and peach. The flavor has mild acidity with some tangerine, bread and a little spicy hops. Grassy bitterness comes through on the strong side for me. Huge hop flavor as per usual with Cellarmaker. Significant astringency to go along with the grassy bitterness makes for a slightly harsh finish. Ok.
