[2/3/16] Draught at Faction Brewing in Alameda. Deep red-amber. Aroma of malt, a bit of spicy rye, and oniony farty hops. Sweetish flavor with caramel, and bitter oniony hops. Medium-bodied.

On tap at Faction. It pours a reddish gold/light amber color with a lasting, creamy off white head. The aroma has light notes of caramel, toffee and dank fruity hops. Peach, cherry and raisin. The flavor is light and fruity with lots of plum, peach, red grape and some grassy hops. A little toasted malt. Reasonably earthy and dry with a low-medium bitter finish. Not bad, but not what I was expecting from a beer camp beer. Basically a lower gravity hoppy amber ale.
