On tap at the Barrel House. It pours a dark brown color with a tan head. The aroma is heavy with bourbon alcohol, vanilla, caramel and cocoa. A little wood. The alcohol is noticeable on the nose. The flavor is the same. A bit heavy on the alcohol on the outset, but it smooths out on subsequent sips. Nice notes of raisin and fig mid palate. A bit nutty with some cocoa, but the dark fruit drives this one. The bourbon is less noticeable except for a hint of vanilla. Strong alcohol in the finish. Pretty quaffable actually.
