Draught at the Arts café, Kralupy n. Vlt. Malty aroma with some citrusy hops. Clear, golden colored, medium carbonated beer. Flavor is smooth, silky and well balanced, light sweet malts and grains and best Czech hops, citrusy and floral, bitter, very bitter (IBU52). Long-lasting bitter aftertaste.
Truly great Czech pilsener.

(Draught at Prvni Pivni Tramway, Prague, 18 July 2014) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Malty, hoppy nose with bread, grass, hay, fresh hops and hints of citrus. Malty, hoppy taste with notes of bread, vanilla, grass, citrus, a touch of resin and a generous bitterness in a dry finish. Medium body. Fresh, quite hoppy and highly drinkable. Nice one.

0.75l glass bottle from Kulovy Blesk’s fridge. Hazy pale yellow, white head. Resiny hop aroma. Elegant malty flavours with a fruity yeasty touch and grassy-resiny hops. Reminds me more of a German Pilsner than a Czech lager. Nevertheless, solid and good quality, of course.

On draught(@U slovanské lípy):Golden, cloudy, slowly collapsing lacy off-white head, mild sweetish pale-malty nose with a decent bitterness underneath; light bodied, moderate to solid dryish bitter-sweet flavour; lingering dry, more bitter than hoppy, finish. Good, could be a bit more aromatic…
