The California version poured up on tap at 1702 where it exhibits a hop hazed copper body that supports a tan head. The mild aroma offers up muted spicy earthy hops and then some pine hoppiness. The taste is up front bitter and resiny with pine hops, grassy hops and a firm Cascade like spiciness. Pretty good as it’s delivering a load of bitter hops and that works for me.

On draft at Tap 25. It pours a clear light orange gold color with an off white head. The aroma is sweet with berry and tropical fruit. Candied mango, pineapple and some decently strong caramel and florals. Sweet and hoppy. The flavor is intense with floral/herbal flavor and bitterness. Dry bready with nice wet hop earthy grapefruit character and candied caramel. Grape. Pretty nice, but a tad on the sweet side.
