After a year of research and recipe development, the new PEEL Belgian Wit replaces our Belgian Pale Ale in the core range.
This light and effervescent Belgian Wit offers soft citrus flavours from the dried orange peel and Motueka hops. Expect a malt sweetness alongside aromas of clove and banana from the Belgian yeast and coriander seeds.
The new beer will keep the name Peel, named after the famous live studio recordings ‘The Peel Sessions’ that gave hundreds of up-and-coming musicians valuable airtime on the radio.

On tap at The Rusty Bucket, Eltham. Nose is orange peel, nuts, apricot. Nutty citrusy taste. Lightly bitter with a lingering sweetness on the palate.

Bottle from the Low Cost Beer online shop. Pours hazy yellow gold with a thin white head. Aromas of orange peel and light spice. Taste is more of the same. Estery finish.

5/7/2024. Keg at 27th Festival of Beer and Brewing, Stowmarket. Pours slightly hazy orange gold with a frothy white head. Aroma is hoppy, orange, citrus, wheaty, peppery spice, touch of banana. Good Peel reference for the excellent Peel Centre in town. Well done Wit. Enjoyed this.
