On tap at De Bonte Koe Leiden. Crazy wide glass. Clear amber colour lasting beige head. It’s a slightly amber Belgian ale. Some esters some sweetness from the malt. Perfectly acceptable. Yes some good yeast character. Some light hop and bitterness on the finish but it is there. Its fine.

Bottled. Slightly hazy golden colour, small white head. Aroma is fruity, mildly spicy yeast as well as some sweet malts to it as well. Flavour is fruity, wooden, floral and some mild floral and bready notes to it. Wellbalanced and quite tasty.

(bottle, 33cl) Clear, golden colour with a medium-sized, slightly off-white frothy head. Slightly sugary and bready malty aroma with fruity, delicately vinous notes of pears, as well as traces of caramel. Moderately sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Quite slim malty base with hints of pears, bubblegum and caramel; rather short and slim malty finish. 31.XII.15
