On the beer menu they called this Dublin Irish Red. Reddish brown eye. Slight bitter up front. Good co2 for an irish beer, I like that. Easy, somewhat fun. Yes, astringent bite in many of their beers. Gets better toward the end. Finish also has some of that astringent sharpness to it.

Sample at the taproom. This beer is a clear dark amber color with a medium light beige head that evaporates to some patchy wisps. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of sweet malt, caramel and mild hops. Light body with a sweet caramel malt character and notes of hops and fruit. The finish is malty with a sweet aftertaste. Slightly above average overall.
