Pour is a cloudy amber with a large white head. Aroma is a minor caramel malt. Flavor is more caramel malt. Mouthfeel is a little syrupy. A little heavier than the usual amber ale but the flavor profile is about the same, some caramel malt is about it.

Rare $2 can from vintage. Yes, darker than pale. Alabaster head. Taste is ale-ish of course, with its less than civil behavior. Stronger, medicinal, shows alky up front with a amber ale volatile bluntness. Bitterness begins to build on the back of my tongue. Nice label BTW. Near cloying bitter maltiness in yer face mah fah, hehehehehh. Glad I had a one niter chance to tick this one.

Can at Nationwide Arena during a CBJ game on 12/20/2018. Clear dark amber color with a medium frothy off-white head that recedes steadily. Sparse strings of lace. Aroma of malt, fruit and nuts. Light-bodied with flavors of caramel malt, roasted nuts and fruit. The finish is sweet with a malty aftertaste. Decent overall.
