Big and dark. Roasted coffee nose. Slight tart coffee initial taste. Big coffee beer sets in. Overriding and a little difficult in the end. factor is coffee, what else. Yes, can't tell if this is stout or porter or just plain cold coffee. Not real bitter but its coffee.

Sampled on draft at the brewery this beer poured a black color with a medium sized creamy beige head that left good lacing. The aroma was brewed coffee, autumn leaves and a bit of roasty malts. The flavor was semi-sweet and woody with a strong brewed coffee presence and a touch of soot. Long brewed coffee finish. Medium body and fairly smooth. Ok.
