Very dark brown for an amber beer. Mild nose of wet hay. First taste is that its quite mild for an amber above 5%. Well behaved, almost fun. Yes, friendly and civilized. Probably one of the better amber ales I've come across over the years. Yes, right up there with Frankenmuth Old Detroit Amber Ale, North Peak Siren Amber Ale, Olde Main Long Face Amber & Atlanta Laughing Skull Amber Ale (2009 - present)
