British Columbia’s old-growth rainforests are world renowned for their grandeur and beauty. They have provided those of us fortunate enough to grow with them a home, place to camp and explore. Let’s help the Ancient Rainforest Alliance save our rainforests and protect them for future generations to come. All proceeds from the sale of this ale go to the Ancient Forest Alliance.

650mL bottle, pours a very dark brown with a quarter inch of tan head. Aroma is very malty, with caramel malts, brown sugar, molasses, roasted malt and light nuts - very pleasant on the nose. Flavour is dominated by metallic notes though, sadly, with a bit of roasted malt, caramel, toasted bread and toasted nuts coming through. Sort of a chemical-like aftertaste as manuchampions points out. Drinkable, but not good.
