Draught at Malone's Urban Drinkery, Vancouver, January 2012, as Russell Munich Eisbock, 9.5% ABV
Amber color, bright, with persistent creamy head. It has a light malt and caramel aroma. Ordinary flavor of Amber Ale, with a mediocre body strength, a light nutty touch, and strong bitterness. Not an Eisbock.

On tap at St. Augustine's, pours a clear copper. Aroma of bready malts and toasted nuts. Flavour has a convoluted mix of spices including nutmeg, bready malts, nuts, and burnt wood. Not a fan of the spices in here - decent though.
