An easy drinking crisp, clean pale ale. Subtle malt character balanced with zesty lemon and lime hops from New Zealand.

Cask at Exeter Arms, Derby. Pours a golden yellow that is slow to settle, with a minimal white head and good lacing. A strange mix of malts (mainly) and tropical fruits in the aroma. In the mouth this starts of sweet with soft carbonation, but some bitterness creeps in later. Flavour is mainly floral hops and biscuits, but with hints of lemon and apricot. Finish is slightly bitter. This is OK, but not one of the brewery’s best

Half pint, cask shared with Finn at Oscars Bar in Hull. Misty pale golden body. Faint white head blanketing the glass. Ripe citrus nose. Lemony hoppy flavours added by a basement touch. Mild fruity bitterness to the ending. Soft mouth feel. Standard (26.11.2015).

Fra cask på Oscar’s Hull 26 Nov 11. Delt med Rune. Veldig lys gyldenbrun. Filmskum. Bra - litt parfymert aroma. Smaken har et svakt preg av svisker.
