A unique take on an American strong ale - this digestif of a beer is dark gold in color and is brewed with honey malt, cocoa, and a mix of red Thai an habanero chiles. It is sweet, spicy, and strong.

On tap at Breakside Brewing, pours a hazy amber orange with a small beige head. Aroma of toasted nuts, toffee and some miscellaneous spices I cannot discern. Flavour is complex, full of spices, some faint chipotle peppers giving a nice kick, some toffee nut, some cinnamon and other spices I can't pick up. Unique and unusual, but very drinkable.

Draught at brewpub. Great looking beer. Malty aroma with a rubbing alcohol note. Flavour is alcohol with a little malt. Not much of a finish. This beer tastes a lot like whisky.
