On tap at Elliott Bay Brewpub, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma of oatmeal, chocolate malts and light roasty notes - more chocolaty than anything. Flavour is moderately roasty, heavily dark chocolate-dominated, with some oats and mild espresso notes. Medium-bitter finish from the roasted malts. Full-bodied and warming at 11%. Excellent.
