On tap at Bitter Tasting Room, pours black with a medium beige / tan head. Aroma is quite lactic with notes of oatmeal, espresso and a bit of cocoa. Flavour is very similar with lactic and espresso notes upfront, with medium sweetness and a fairly dry finish. Light-to-medium bodied with no harsh edges. Definitely better than the regular R & B stout, but nothing overly ambitious. Solid.
