Cask (handpump) @ The Roebuck Inn (JDW), 9-11 St. James Street, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, England NG1 6FH. [ As Magpie Roebuck Gold ].Clear medium orange - amber yellow color with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, earthy. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration, malt - nutty bitter, pale nuts, sweet malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20141013]
