Some citrus and some tangy peel. A little odd spice. Some florals. Ingredients don’t mesh well here. Tangy finish. Tap at brewpub.

Cask at Central City Winter Cask Fest '13, pours a hazy dark amber with a small beige head. Aroma of spiced dark fruits, dry yeast and biscuity malts. Flavour is quite a bit darker tasting for a biere de garde, with notes of dark fruits, candied sugar, slight spices, yeast and biscuity notes. Fairly robust body for the style and drinks smoothly. Decent stuff.
