500mL bottle, sent from Marheb (thanks a lot, Martin), pours a murky, filthy dark reddish brown with a small beige head. Nose brings out lots of chardonnay notes, some Belgian yeast, and not much of the IIPA characteristics. Flavour is similar, bringing out loads of dry white wine notes, Belgian yeast, some spices, and a touch of candied sugar. Not really getting any hops on this at all - the wine barrels take centre stage. Solid for what it is.
