Poured up on tap at Liberty Station where it exhibits a clear copper body that supports a near white head. The aroma offers up candied pine hoppiness and candied oranges with a faint smoke note in the background. The taste is fully pine hop bitterness that slides quickly into firm smooth supple smokiness. It seems to have too much age since the pine has that blunted candied edge to it but it goes nicely with the smokiness. Cool.

Keg at Liberty Station, 13/11/14. Rich amber with a decent light beige covering. Nose is biscuit malt, light ashtray, spice, caramel malt, earthy hops, bitter tropicana, blood orange. Taste comprises candied fruit peel, subtle smoke, red grapefruit, earthy hops, caramel malt. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Nicely done, the smoke effect is carried off well without becoming obtrusive.

On tap at Stone Liberty Station, pours a hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma of smoked malt, some chilli peppers, and rye-like hops. Flavour brings out medium strength smoke above anything, drowning out any IPA-like character. Pretty smoky - not that elegant, but fairly enjoyable. Decent.
