Murky amber color with small head. The aroma is very fruity, and with some caramel, and light yeast. Soft mouthfeel; caramel flavor, strong yeast presence, similar to a cask of British Bitter, and lingering fruitiness; strong bitterness; a bit astringent in the final, and with traces of earth and chicory bitterness.
A lot of character, Nice but rough. The hops would shine better with a cleaner beer.

On cask at Main Street, pours a cloudy dark amber / maroon with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out bready malts, some piney hops, and crisp crackery character. Flavour is on the hoppy side for an amber with a very flavourful piney hop quality, balanced by a solid caramel malt backing without any residual sweetness. Very dry, lightly astringent, hoppy finish. Excellent stuff.
