Cask at SIBA Beer X. Almost black. Thin, tan head. Sweet milk chocolate. Very much like opening an Easter egg! Sweet ,fruity taste. Thin mouthfeel, but still a nice beer.

Cask at Bruce’s Birthday batch @Craft Islington. It pours deep brown with a small, bubbly beige head. The nose is cheap plain chocolate, roasty, earth and sweet coffee. The taste is roasted malt, coffee, cheap chocolate and mild astringency with a dry finish. Light-medium body and limited carbonation. Not much depth to it and dominated by cheap chocolate flavours... so-so.

Craft Islington. Brucie Boys Birthday Bash. Cask. Deep red amber beer, small pale tan head. Light dry palate. Tangy mellow dark malts.and a lot of drinking chocolate powder! Light dry finish. It’s fine but lacking any sophistication.

Cask at CBC Islington, 07/02/14. Extremely dark mahogony brown with a moderate light tan covering that clears to the edge. Nose smells of cheap chocolate, eastern European easter egg cheapness, vanilla, sugars, dark malts, toffee fudge. Taste comprises chocolate, vanilla, again cheap tasting chocolate, slightly artificial, sweet pangs, Nutella on toast, light roast. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close. Ok stuff but the chocolate flavour seemed a little artificial.
