Given our love of science, it should be no surprise that we named our triple IPA after T2R, a class of bitter receptors on your tongue. This is a hop bomb, but balanced and dangerously drinkable. For a good time, put some T2R on your T2Rs.

On tap at Elizabeth Station. Pours a clear darky golden with a tan head. Aroma is floral and grassy with a very slight nail polisher notes. Taste is pretty the same with some slight dirty notes. Good.

Draft pour at Special Brews. Pours a cloudy yellow color with a big bubbly head. Light lemon fruity hop aroma. Flavor is quite refreshing at first, but turns super bitter quickly. Citrus fruit throughout with a more dry bitter hop finish. Not bad, but not my favorite in the style.

On tap at Brouwer's, pours a clear pale golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of skunky herbal pot-like hops, body odour, and some weird plasticy off-flavours. Flavour is thankfully more pleasant, with notes of floral hops, pine, and candied sugar - surprisingly very different from the nose. Very solid stuff.
