Cask at the brewery
Cloudy brown color, with large frothy head. The aroma is mild, a bit spicy and fruity. Some caramel flavor, but also too much yeast, hence the final is not exciting; light spices and fruity esters too. Correct bitterness.
Dirty, not totally bad.

On cask at Main Street, pours a dark mahogany with a small tan head. Aroma brings out sweet caramel malts and some residual rye notes - smells very sweet. Flavour reveals notes of rye, Belgian yeast, and some caramel. On the sweeter side for a saison, but no where cloying. Not overly complex, but drinkable. Simple beer.
