Cask at the brewery
Cloudy dark amber color with thin compact head. There is some aroma of malt, caramel, yeast and dust, but too timid. The malt flavor is goof, moderately sweet, buy lacking some depth; it had traces of yeast and fruity esters; the light alcohol warmth is comforting; but, even for a Dubbel, the bitterness level is a bit too low.
Nice beer.

On cask at Main Street, pours a cloudy dark amber brown with a medium creamy beige head. Nose brings out Belgian yeast, candied sugar, and subtle dried fruit. Flavour is perfectly balanced, with toasted nuts, Belgian yeast, candied sugar and a little dried fruit. Really well-balanced with a creamy palate making this exceedingly easy drinking. Excellent beer.
