The West Coast IPA that won us gold at the Poznań 2015 craft beer contest. As the name suggests, we used ten different hops varieties to brew this one, adding them in equal proportions at each of the seven stages of hopping. The result is a highly drinkable and aromatic India Pale Ale.

Draught @ Hoppiness Beer&Food, Chmielna 27/31 lok.76, Warszawa, Poland 00-021. [ As Birbant 10 hops ].Clear medium amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy, pine, resin, hop flowers, hop oil. Flavor is moderate sweet and moderate to heavy bitter with a long duration, hop oil, caramel, pine - wood - resin. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20160204] 6-4-6-3-12 Sample @ [ DØE - Ølfestival København 2017 ] @ Lokomotivværkstedet, Otto Busses Vej 5A, 2450 Copenhagen SV, Denmark. [ As Birbant 10 hops ].ABV: 5.7%. Clear medium orange yellow colour with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, fruity malt, sweet malt, light to moderate hoppy, fruity hops. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration, fruity hops, pale malt, sweet malt, dry grass - floral. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. Keg at Hoppiness, Warsaw. Clear amber, mid sized head. Generous aroma of lychee, citrus and pears. Mid sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Lightly fruity, dominated by citric passionfruit hops. Mid bitter finish. Solid.

Piwo dość klarowne, piana raczej słaba. W aromacie słodko - głównie owoce tropikalne, nieco słodu. Nie jest zbyt intensywny. W smaku jest lepiej, piwo dość słodkie, z wyraźną goryczkową kontrą. Nie jest to zbyt szlachetna goryczka, aczkolwiek wyraźna. Piwo orzeźwiające, dobrze pijalne.

Tap (VI FDP) i butelka 0.5l (15.11.2015). Piwo minimalnie mgliste o ciemno złotej barwie, białej, gęstej i obfitej pianie, całkiem trwałej i ładnie zdobiącej szkło. W pierwszej chwili, bezpośrednio z butelki aromat cytrusowy a po przelaniu do szkła do głosu dochodzą słodkie nuty owoców tropikalnych z charakterystyczna nutą kokosową od sorachi ace w tle. Aromat średnio intensywny, przyjemny. W smaku bardzo zbieżnie z grapefruitową goryczką, całkiem wysoką, krótką, delikatnie zalegającą podkreśloną bardzo delikatną słodyczą tropików w posmaku. Piwo wytrawne, lekkie w odbiorze, pijalne, bardzo orzeźwiające ale jakby trochę płaskie, bez ciała. Fajne, lekkie ale liczyłem na ciut więcej.
