On tap at Storm, pours a deep dark mahogany with a small tan head. Nose brings out notes of coffee, whiskey and a little roast. Flavour brings out coffee initially, then transitions over to smoky whiskey, and finishes slightly chocolatey and roasty. Not the most cohesive or harmonious beer, but it's not bad.

Dark brown color near black. The smell of old coffee grounds is less than exciting, and alcohol; some burnt impression. Moderately sweet, helps to drink the chocolate and coffee mix, lean mouthfeel, pleasant alcoholic presence.
I have to say that, cream and temperature aside, it reminds quite well of the Irish coffee thing.
