A new-world take on the Czech-style pilsner. A golden bodied crisp lager fused with citrus and spice aromas from Ahtanum and Amarillo hops.

Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver
Hazy golden color with creamy head. Some hop aroma, hint of yellow plums. The flavor is between Lager and Ale, smooth mouthfeel, mild malt flavor, moderately sweet; decent hopping. But it also has a trace of diacetyl.
Imprecise.

On tap at St Augustine's, pours a fairly clear pale golden yellow with a small white head. Nose brings out English hops and crackery malt - strikes me as an English pale or maybe IPA. Flavour is very well-balanced, with English hops, resin, light sweetness, and crackery malt to back. Dry, very English and with only subtle sweetness. Decent stuff.
