Our brewers had not brewed a new IPA for a while and decided it was time for another one. IPA #3 has strong citrus and floral notes from generous amounts of Columbus, Summit and Horizon hops added in both the brew kettle and during dry hopping. Pale, Vienna and Special Roast provide the malt backdrop. Can the Northwest have too many IPA’s? We don’t think so.

On tap at Buoy Beer Co., pours a hazy golden orange with no head. Aroma brings out loads of skunky herbal pot-like hops. Flavour is exactly the same, tastes like pot was soaked in this. Decent stuff, but these are never my preferred IPAs.
