On tap at Black Kettle, pours a deep dark brown with a reddish tinge and a small beige head. Nose brings out toasted English malt and crusty rye bread. Flavour is along the same lines, with English malt and crusty bread. Not the most interesting beer, even as far as milds go. No off-flavours but it's not terribly well-brewed. Okay.
