This elusive North West IPA will be welcomed by all beer lovers that enjoy a more traditional IPA. Its large malt flavor is well balanced with some of our favorite "C" hops.

Draft 10 oz pour at Hop and Hound. Pours really thick. A cloudy orange color with a soap bubble head. Malt heavy aroma with a pine rich hop impression. A full meal of a beer here. A ton of malt going on, thick body, creamy, borderline intense hop bitterness late, nutty grain finish. Too thick and malty for my typical liking. Not bad though. Update: enjoyed at the Everett taproom. Much cleaner appearance than before. Very different than my notes from a year ago. Malt forward for sure. Nutty grain remains. Bitter grassy hops. Much better beer than my first experience. Rating updated.

On tap at At Large, pours hazy golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is herbal and kind of off, with diacetyl and cloying sweetness. Flavour is slightly off, with diacetyl, some herbal hops, and light grassiness. A little off to me.
