Draft pour pint at Route 2 Taproom, Monroe. Bright and clean amber appearance, plenty of sticky lacing, thin head. Toasty malt, bran nose. Earthy grains, some bready malt, minimal spice, bold finish. Flavorful amber, more or less standard for the style, but nothing offputting about this. Based on a previous review, I'd say it's safe to assume they figured this recipe out a little more over the last decade. Enjoyed this.

On tap at Lazy Boy, pours a hazy amber with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out toasted malt and a touch of floral hops. Flavour is kind of vegetal, with bready malt and just enough hops to be noticeable. The vegetal notes make this seem a bit off. Not too good.
