Cask at Darby’s Public House, Vancouver
Murky Amber color with no head. Light smell of yeast, stale water, maybe very light coconut. Served at the right temperature, soft mouthfeel, also quite weak, semi-dry, with uninteresting beer quality, a bit of chocolate, a bit of coconut.
Very clumsy, although not totally bad.

On cask at Darby's, pours a filthy opaque brownish orange with almost no head and coconut flakes on top. Nose brings out the coconut flakes upfront, with a light toasted character underneath. Flavour is like coconut candy. It really is just coconut and light sweetness. Cool gimmick beer - there's no notice of this being a brown ale though.
