Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver
Dark amber color, hazy, with compact head. Light malt aroma. The flavor is based on caramel and malt, fairly sweet; it has a metallic feeling, unexpected, and there is no grapefruit trace. Muddy yeast in the final. I asked to confirm, and I should have had the right beer, unless they messed with the keg.
This glass contains an imprecise Amber Ale.

On tap at St. Augustine's, pours a cloudy dark amber with a small beige head. Nose brings out grapefruit zest and toasted bready malt. Flavour is quite odd, with a sort of toasted sweet chestnut / hazelnut flavour, with only minor presence of sweet grapefruit. Rather intriguing upon the first few sips, but the sweetness becomes a bit too much the more you drink. Okay.
