Draught at the brewery
Brown color. Dark malts, roasty, with a light fruity touch, and some residual sweetness.
It has a bit more character and roastiness than the dark Ale.

On tap at Counterbalance, pours a deep dark mahogany with a small beige head. Aroma brings out subtle notes of cocoa nibs and toasted malt, though it's all pretty restrained. Flavour is a little more robust, with notes of cocoa nibs, metallic notes and toasted bready malt. A little harsh with the metallic astringency. Okay, but needs a little refining.
