Draught at the brewery; 6.4% ABV
Red amber color, clean, with creamy head. A bit more malty and caramelly that I’d like to have, bit at least it’s not sweet; the hop brings some timid quality, a bit of resins, light orange peel.
A bit old style, but clean, nice.

Draft pour pint at Hop and Hound, listed at 6.4%, 74 ibu. Cool to see these guys make it up north a bit. Had a hard time making it to the brewery when I had the chance. Pours a thick and cloudy burnt orange with a thick cream head. Soft aroma with fresh hops. Flavor is very malty, with a sweetness to follow as expected. Gentle hop bitter, but doesn’t quite even the score. Nutty character to it. Not bad, bUT came off as an unbalanced, homebrewish IPA. Seems to have changed a bit over time, so I’ll give it another shot at a later time, hopefully at the source.

On tap at Lowercase, pours a clear copper orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out a herbal hop characteristic and sufficient biscuity malt. Flavour is pretty dull and uninspired, with dry biscuity malt and herbal hops. Not very strong in the hop department. Finish is dry and dull. Okay.
