Black color with no head. The aroma is mild, the flavor stronger, lingering between roasted malt and dark chocolate; smoke and oak are not really evident; the final is soft on the palate, more roasty.

On cask at Main Street, pours a deep dark brown / black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out toasted malt, roast and a little bit of oak. Flavour brings out bready malts and some earthy notes. Don't get any oak. Pretty dry and somewhat smoky. Meh.
