On tap at St. Augustine's, pours a clear pale blonde with a large white head. Aroma brings out metalli notes, dry biscuity malt and rather abrasive hopping. Flavour is along the same lines, with a bone dry biscuity malt backbone paving way for bone dry hopping and a slight metallic tinge. Certainly brewed to style, but without much character. Clean enough and drinkable, but pretty boring.

Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver
Hazy golden color, very small head. Very light aroma of bread; I wonder if it would show more, from a different glass, bus as is it’s too mild. The mouthfeel is light but not too weak, dry; the malt flavor is not impressive, but at least there are some cereals and a biscuity character; good bitterness level, maybe a light herbaceous touch, but the hops don’t provide the expected quality. Some chicory-like bitterness, unwanted.
Clean beer, but misses the point, not being able to strike either with the malt or the hop.
