On tap at the Alibi Room, pours a cloudy dirty dark mahogany / brown with a small white head. Aroma brings out notes of wood, dark fruits and toffee. Flavour is similar, bringing out dark fruits, prominent woody notes and caramel. Rather aggressive booze as well, but it's not detracting. Not the most elegant barrel aged beer, but this is very nice.

Draught at Alibi Room, Vancouver
Cloudy dark amber color. The aroma reminds me of stale beer in the tray, not exciting, but also some malt. But it has a good body, some caramel flavor, light residual sweetness, a bit nutty, a bit woody, a bit sour; the alcohol feeling is pleasant.
It lacks a bit of malt depth, but it’s an enjoyable sipper.

Bottle thanks to a generous trade. Pours a near clear dark brown with a yellowish brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has sweet grains with notes of molasses with backing oak notes. Flavor is sweet with sweet grains, light fruit, molasses and a bit of a metallic note.

Called Old Woody by the restaurant. Can we get this changed to that. Barrel aged and with the character of the barrel in the aroma. Full bodied with a minor alcohol note. Malty note.
