Pours hazy copper with a large lasting head.Nose shows heavy resinous hops, some pine and grapefruit, a bit of sweet malt.Intense flavours, lots of pine and resinous hops, very powerful. Lots of malt to balance as well, very full on. A bit of booze in the finish. Quite an ordeal.

On tap at Royal Albert, pours a cloudy dark orange amber with a small white head. Aroma is very malty for a big IIPA, with lots of dry caramel malt, bready notes and resinous hops. Flavour is extremely abrasive, with harsh resinous hops and caramel malt in poor combination. Works okay overall, but it's very difficult to drink. Okay.
