Cask at the brewery
Dark brown color, almost black, with creamy beige head. Rich dark malts, mild smoke touch, hints of dark chocolate, with robust body, mild sweetness, and a silky mouthfeel.

On cask at Main Street, pours a deep dark orange-tinted mahogany with a small tan head. Aroma brings out lots of the woody oak upfront, with light caramel and some light fruitiness. Flavour is along the same lines, with lots of oak, considerable ashiness to it, and some dry toasted caramel. Nice addition of the oak to this. Enjoyable.
