Murky blond color with almost no head. The aroma is a bit spicy and fruity; coriander, tropical fruits, sweet orange. Good lean mouthfeel with very moderate residual sweetness; light bready wheat flavor; nice spicy yeast level, just right to introduce a strong bitterness and enough hop quality, resiny, but also a bit fruity, bitter oranges.
A bit rough, but quite enjoyable.

Aroma is slightly funky and sour, with malty notes. Taste is hoppy, bitter, not very pleasant. Same aftertaste. Meh.

On tap at Yaletown, pours a cloudy blonde with a small white head. Aroma is quite sweet, with Belgian yeast upfront, along with residual candied sugar and some piney hops. Flavour is less sweet than the nose suggests, thankfully, with a good balance of Belgian yeast and piney hops. Light sweetness on the finish, along with a somewhat astringent crispness. Well-balanced and fairly pungent. Good.
