Black color, small brown head. Aroma and flavor are based on coffee, and some roasted malt, and roasted bread. The mouthfeel is dry. Mild sourness from the dark malts in the final.

On tap at Irish Caskival at YBV. Pours a very dark brown with a tan head. Aroma is roasted malt, slightly sour and smokey. Taste is roasted malt, fruity notes, dry. Tart, burnt malt aftertaste. Just a not bad.

On tap at 12 Kings, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out roasted, almost burnt malts, with some dry powdery cocoa. Flavour is along the same lines, with burnt roasted malt, a little smoke and dry cocoa. Lacking residual sweetness completely, ending smoky and burnt.
