Draught at the brewery; 5.6% ABV
Amber color, clean, with compact head. Smells of refined sugar and husks; dry mouthfeel, some dusty cereals, and strong bitterness. It has a light puckery feeling, not rare in these beers.
Didnβt like this too much.

On tap at Standard, pours a clear copper with a small white head. Aroma brings out toasted malt and not much else. Flavour is subtle and dry, with toasted bready malt dominating. Very dry palate, with no residual sweetness. Boring but competently brewed. Meh.
