Draught at the brewery
Dark color, almost black, with thick head. A bit smelly, cheese rind. Roasted malts flavor, the mouthfeel is rather dry, some dark chocolate and ashes in the end.
Similar to a Stout.

On tap at West Seattle, pours a deep dark mahogany with a small beige head. Aroma brings out caramel malts, bready notes and a touch of winter spices. Flavour is much the same, with bready malt, toasted caramel and some bizarre spices that sort of ruin this. Not a fan.
