Can@Torben Mathews tasting. Pours clear dark brown with large white head. Aroma is hops, spruce, pine, resin, butter and cookies. Taste is medium sweet and medium bitter. Body is creamy with soft carbonation. Finish is long and hopy with spruce, caramel, cream and hints of cinnamon

On tap at Parallel 49, pours a hazy amber with a small white head. Aroma brings out fruity bready malt, light hop resins and a touch of caramel. Flavour is along the same lines, with notes of red berries, caramel bready malt and fairly restrained resinous hops. Perhaps a bit fruitier and brighter than the original. Solid.

Mahogany color, clean, with no head. Some caramel and some resiny hops in the aroma. Semi-dry but not weak, some caramel flavor, strong bitterness, probably cleaner than the regular gypsy tears of which I’m not a fan anyway.
Ok beer.
